I don't really know what to say about the Ard Matthew's National Anthem debacle. My buddy Seano interviewed (or tried to) interview him at Rocking the Daisies and he came across as a royal twat, Ard not Seano, but then again we all probably do when we're drunk and high (Thanks be to gawd nobody has ever wanted to interview me under the influence) (I did once do a dance for Lucky Fonz the Third's mother that was recorded - cringe - footage NOT on youtube).
But when I watched the footage of his no-word-wonder anthem/vom/giggle attempt last night I kinda felt sorry for the dude. And now a whole nation of hefty rugby boets hate him. I think he might have to go back to LA to take another crack at his music career there before he gets klapped stukkend (by boets, not booze or drugs - hehe).
